Bari masseria - organic farm, health stay accommodation

The Lama di Luna Biomasseria in the province of Bari in Puglia is a stunning organic farm dating back to the end of the 18th century and today offering health breaks and rural tranquility.
The masseria is set in 190 hectares of olive groves, almond and cherry orchards, as well its own vineyard.
The products of the farm can all be purchased on site and all are AIAB certified.
The whole complex was restructured over a three period combing traditional local rural building techniques with bio-architecture and feng shui.
This respect for place and history together with a modern philosophy of well being and sustainable tourism has created a truly wonderful place.
The owners also live in the property and the presence of geese, sheep, barn owls and other animals will help you to experience a sense of everyday Murgia life.
your stay
The 10 guest rooms are located in the old farmers' residence. They are spacious and bright. Each has a fireplace and hot water is provided by 48 solar panels.
The beds date back to the 1800's and are made of pine and olive wood with brass fittings, but are finished with such natural details as unbleached cotton sheets and natural latex mattresses.
Guests can enjoy a library, a veranda where breakfast is served (pictured above), room and bathrooms for disabled and an à la carte dinner menu from June to September.
Book your stay during the olive harvest from November to January or observe the daily milking of the animals.
