CookinItalia is located in La Vignola, a country style hotel set in its own park by the River Liri as it runs through medieval Ceprano. This is the part of south Lazio known as 'Ciociaria' a zone of unspoilt and outstanding beauty in the province of Frosinone.

The week long cooking courses were launched in 2016 by Luca Federici, owner of La Vignola with the aim of taking guests on a gastronomic journey through the territory with locally based experienced and qualified chefs. They are fullly hands on lessons with each class studied to give a genuine insight into the authentic simplicity which is the base of all Italian cuisine.

But not only wonderul dishes, but also the extra ingredient of conviviality and the fact that eating together and sharing a meal is a part of socializing and getting to know those around you. A selection of fine wine from the Federici family’s own restaurant wine cellar also an important element.

The Cooking Courses

The course includes 6 lessons each with a specific theme after which you will be able to prepare a complete meal from delicious local recipes which have been handed down for generations.

Trips to the surrounding territory also form a fundmental part of the CookinItalia experience and they include visits to corners of Ciociaria of incredible historical, religious, natural as well as culinary interest, the latter to pick up the most typical and freshest ingredients for the cooking lessons.

• 8 days, 7 nights stay at La Vignola Country Hotel with access to all facilities
• Airport transfers from Rome (FCO and CIA) or Naples airports
