If you are looking to take Rome day cooking lessons or a cooking class in Rome as part of your vacation or visit to the Eternal City, then we think we have discovered something very special.
The private cooking lessons of Fabio Bongianni are held in a wonderful noble Palazzo a short walk from the Spanish Steps and behind the famous atelier of fashion designer Valentino.
Lessons last two hours and either lunch lunch or dinner can be requested, as well as wine tasting, and even musical entertainment. Held in English the cooking classes can also feature a market visit and wine tasting.
What has been prepared in all lessons becomes a wonderful lunch or evening meal and everyone can attend the classes, from beginners to experienced gourmets.
That's Amore Restaurant is located just a few yards from the famous Trevi Fountain in central Rome.
It is run by Fabio Bongianni who is also the inspiration behind Fabiolous Cooking Day for anyone wanting to plan an Italian cooking lesson during a stay in Eternal City.
The restaurant can seat 60 diners and is also able to accomodate group bookings with special tourist menù.
The full menu for private guests can be found on the dedicated website, but expect a selection of dishes from around the Italian regions, as well as pizza and calzoni.
For example, the pasta list includes homemade fettuccine with black truffle sauce from Umbria, risotto with porcini mushrooms from Piemonte and lasagna with ragu sauce, tomato and mozzarella from Emilia Romagna.
