Recipe for how to make potatoes gnocchi from the province of Verona.
Recipe for Gnocchi from Verona, Veneto
400 g flour, 400 g fresh cottage cheese, 1 egg, 4 spoonfuls seasoned and grated cheese, 20g mountain butter, 60 g grated Grana Padano cheese.
Mix the flour, cottage cheese, egg and grated cheese.
If necessary also add some lukewarm water to obtain a thick cream.
Spoon out the mass and immerge it in plenty of boiling salty water.
When the balls emerge drain them and flavour them in melted butter.
Serve hot sprinkled with grated cheese.
