The 5 short routes featured below have been compiled by Signora Tilde of Iscairia Casa Vacanze based in Velia, Salerno province. All depart from Velia by the National Park of Cilento.

1. CALORE

LAURINO: medieval church (SS488), FELITTO: the gorges of Calore, fusilli pasta (SS488), ROSCIGNO VECCHIA: Pompei of the 19th century, church and square (SS488), SACCO: source of the Sammaro (SS488), S. ANGELO A FASANELLA: grotto of S.Michele Arcangelo, sculpture of the Antece (SS488), CORLETO MONFORTE: nature museum (SS488), CASTELCIVITA: 5km long grotto (SS488)

2. MONTESTELLA

ROCCA CILENTO: the Castle (SS267), LAUREANA CILENTO: doorways of the palazzi signorili (SS18), VATOLLA: place where G.B. Vico was tutored (SS18), VETTA DEL MONTE STELLA: chapel, path (SS267), S. MAURO CILENTO: città dell'olio (SS267)

3. CERVATI

SANZA: climb up Monte Cervati, stone of Pisacane, caciocavalli cheese (SS18), VALLECARLA: MADONNA DELLA GROTTA: MADONNA DELLA NEVE (SS18), MORIGERATI: grotto and spring of the Bussento, museum of peasant tradition (SS18).

4. CHORA

VELINA MANDIA: source of the Pantane, chestnut forests, wild herbs, mushrooms and strawberries (SP447), RODIO: church of S.Aniello, century's old olive trees, olive presses (SP447), PISCIOTTA: medieval town, collegiata, pietralata (SP447), MARINA DI PISCIOTTA: uncontimated beaches (SP447).

5. MINGARDO & DEL BUSSENTO
