Ca' Pisani was the first design hotel to be built in Venice. It offers an alternative to the classic Venetian hotel and is popular with leading figures of the arts.

The hotel's beautiful exterior dates back to the 15th century and is a striking contrast to its eclectic interiors which are reminiscent of the 1930's and 1940's; deep red hues, bamboo, marble and walnut wood.

The Ca' Pisani is located in the enchanting heart the Dorsoduro district of Venice, a short walk from the Accademia Art Gallery or famous Accademia Art Gallery.

The zone is tranquil and charming and a few seconds walk to both the Grand Canal and Giudecca Canal and all connections across the city.

The building is a fine example of a late 13th century palazzo of nobility of the period. It was converted into a 29 bedroom guest house by the architect Roberto Canovaro in the late 16th century.

The Design Hotel Ca' Pisani in Venice was formerly known as 'Palazzo Ca' Pisani Molfettà' after Vettor Pisani, a great admiral of the Republic of Venice.

It was opened as an exclusive luxury retro boutique hotel in 2000 and by the same family who has been running Hotel Saturnia & International since 1908.
