7 DAY SICILY HOLIDAY ITINERARY

1st day: Friday - Airport Palermo/Palermo

Independent arrival at the airport of Palermo in the morning and transfer on your own at your hotel 4*. Early afternoon visit Palermo. The sightseeing continues to Monreale. Visit the cathedral with its impressive mosaics and the Benedictine Cloister. Overnight at your hotel 4*.

2nd day: Saturday (B/D)* - Palermo/Erice

Early breakfast at the hotel time for leisure. In the afternoon departure to Erice, enchanting medieval village on top of the S. Giuliano Mountain at 800 meters of height. Visit of the town. In the late afternoon transfer to Agrigento Area; overnight and dinner at your hotel.

3rd day: Sunday (B)* - Selinunte/Agrigento/Butera

After breakfast, visit of the archaeological site of Selinunte. Possibility of an optional mini-tour by electric car (golf carts) inside the archaeological park. Transfer to Agrigento to visit the famous Valley of the temples. Proceed to Butera and overnight at your hotel 4*.

4th day: Monday (B)* - Butera/ Piazza Armerina/Taormina

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Piazza Armerina for the visit of the Roman “Villa del Casale”, with its 3.500 square metres of mosaics, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. At the end transfer to Taormina and overnight at your hotel 4*.

5th day: Tuesday (B)* - Taormina/Etna/Taormina

After breakfast, departure to Mount Etna. Optional excursion up to 2.500 meters by cable way, at your charge. With its 135km. perimeter and height of 3,340 meters above sea level, Mt. Etna is the result of a multitude of geological events which have taken place over the course of thousands years. Accommodation and overnight at your 4* hotel.

6th day: Wednesday (B)* - Taormina

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at your leisure with lots of suggestions from us on how to spend it in the best way.

7th day: Friday (B)* Catania/Catania airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Indipendent transfer to Catania airport.
