Cavatelli fresh pasta with seafood

A fabulous seafood recipe from Monopoli which is typical of the culinary tradition of the Puglia coast.


cavatelli fresh pasta, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, parsley, cuttlefish cut in strips, clams, mussels and shrimps.

making it

All the above ingredients must be fried (in Italy we say "saltare", "to make something jump") meaning a quick cooking in a little hot oil and not properly the action of frying usually adopted for french fries.

Add a few tomatoes cut in cubes and finally with pasta which has been previously boiled 'al dente'.
