If you have ever wanted to fly over Tuscany or the classic Tuscan countryside, then these leisure flights out of Arezzo will be just for you.
The initiative is called Tuscanwings and was conceptualized and founded by owner and pilot, Francesco.
Francesco also runs the fabulous agriturismo wine estate and restaurant, the Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco in the Chiana Valley.
Your plane is a single engined Piper which is based at Arezzo Molin Bianco airport.
From here Francesco will guide you personally on a trip over the beautiful Tuscan rolling hills to such famous locations and sights as Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano and Montalicno, Pienza and Lake Trasimeno.
Further routes reach all the way to the coast and Forte dei Marmi in the province of Lucca from where a taxi will take you into town for an aperitif and some local shopping before being flown back to Arezzo.
Similar trips can be arranged to the island of Elba combining a swim in the Mediterranean sea.

The agriturismo is owned by the Illuminati's, a family from the Val di Chiana. The 18th century villa has been meticulously restored with style and elegance and antique furniture.
The family have been producing fruit in their 'Azienda Agricola Illuminati' for four generations and the accommodation buildings are surrounded by orchards, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
