Based in Tropea, the one day Calabria cooking classes of In Italy Tours are perfect for anyone wanting a basic introduction to traditional Calabria recipes and cuisine. You will start learning the secrets with these hands-on cooking lessons located in the home of Marianna in the hills of San Angelo just a few minutes from the center of Tropea.

It is a wonderful setting with most of the estate dedicated to a large vegetable garden while the outdoor kitchen boasts a wood brick oven, huge grill and spacious veranda where to relax and enjoy the authentic dishes made.

Marianna uses recipes which are no longer even used in the restaurants of Tropea, passed down from the generations.

Morning classes start from 10 am till approx 3 - 4 pm. Evening classes start from 5 pm till midnight.
