This novel idea to add to your vacation in Rome is by Wine in Tour based in Frascati in the Castelli Romani. it is a fun 4 hours making pizza class in a vineyard followed by a tour with the winemaker. You will learn how to prepare and bake a classic Roman pizza, but more importantly have a great day out in the lovely Roman countryside!

You will be welcomed in the beautiful wine farm by an English speaking guide who will introduce you to a hands-on cooking class. Here you will make your own dough and toppings with organic ingredients and see your pizza slowly cook in a wood fired oven.

This will be followed by a walk through the vineyard to the wine cellar to skillfully choose and match the estate's wines to your fresh pizza.

The total price for making pizza lesson is €98 per person and the cooking class will take place with a minimum of 4 people.

The winery & farm is just 15 minutes by train from the center of Rome and a transfer to/from the Winery/Pomezia railway station can be requested for an additional fee of €6 each (round trip).

The pizza making lesson and wine tour is held on request but can take place at any time of the year. All classes are held in the morning starting at 10:00am.
