This novel idea to add to your vacation in Rome is by Wine in Tour based in Frascati in the Castelli Romani. it is a fun 4 hours making pizza class in a vineyard followed by a tour with the winemaker.
You will learn how to prepare and bake a classic Roman pizza, but more importantly have a great day out in the lovely Roman countryside!
You will be welcomed in the beautiful wine farm by an English speaking guide who will introduce you to a hands-on cooking class.
Here you will make your own dough and toppings with organic ingredients and see your pizza slowly cook in a wood fired oven.
This will be followed by a walk through the vineyard to the wine cellar to skillfully choose and match the estate's wines to your fresh pizza.
The total price for making pizza lesson is €98 per person and the cooking class will take place with a minimum of 4 people.
The winery & farm is just 15 minutes by train from the center of Rome and a transfer to/from the Winery/Pomezia railway station can be requested for an additional fee of €6 each (round trip).
