This 2 hour olive oil tasting tour by Wine in Tour based in Frascati near Rome is best enjoyed during the olive harvest period in November, but can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It includes an introduction to local olive culture in Lazio, a visit to an olive grove and a guided tasting of 2 extra virgin olive oils accompanied with a selection of bread and local cheeses.

At the end you will appreciate the hard work which goes into producing new olive oil directly in the olive press or frantoio. The experience also includes a visit to a specialist wine & olive oil Shop (with 10% discount off all products).

For participants without a private or rental car, transfers to/from your accomodation can be organized on request for an additional cost from €45 per person

Nevertheless, it is possible to arrive by train from Rome Termini railway station to Frascati railway station (or Anagnina Metro Station) and a pick up service will take you to the meeting point in the winery for €15 per person.
