La Terrazza Restaurant of the Albergo al Sole hotel in central Asolo is both a restaurant and cafeteria where you can enjoy breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper.

As the name suggests it has a breathtaking terrace view of the Castle of Queen Cornaro in the historical centre of Asolo and is the ideal place to sip a drink and enjoy the sunset.

The menu of La Terrazza is both contemporary and traditional and the dishes are based on the highest quality fresh fish, meat, edible flowers and vegetable sprouts; the Chef's hallmark.

Particular attention is given to the selection of organic and wholegrain products for vegetarian, vegan and celiac diners.

Some of the signature dishes of La Terrazza are:

  • Carpaccio di bue marinato with rucolina, strawberries, Asiago stravecchio cheese & scalogno in agrodolce.
  • Trilogia of Sicilian red tuna with alghe kombu allo zenzero, red onions of Tropea & vanilla tomatoes.
  • Spaghetti with oysters, lobster.
  • Strigoli al pesto leggero di basilico with cherry tomoatoes & buffalo ricotta cheese.
  • Filetto di manzo piemontese steccato with foglie di Castel, ristretto di balsamic vinegar & cherries.
  • Baccalà dissalato in cartoccio di vetro with cherry tomatoes, olives taggiasche, capers & casereccio bread.

La Terrazza Restaurant is open every day from 07.00 to 24.00.

TASTING DINNERS IN THE GROTTA DI BACCO

The 16th century Cave of Bacco or 'Grotta di Bacco' can also hold exclusive gourmet dinners for small groups prepared by Chef Davide Rizzardo.
