Guests of the Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco can enjoy an exclusive restaurant serving typical Tuscan cuisine from the Val di Chiana and the surrounding territory. All dishes are accompanied by some excellent Tuscan wines from the old wine cellar where the Bianchini's family used to store their wine during the winter.

In summer, dinner is served on the patio where you can enjoy warm evenings and fantastic views of the estate orchards and the Tuscan hills beyond. During the cooler season, dinner is served in the comfort of the old stables restored respecting Tuscan traditions.

The Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco produces red, white and dessert wine and an excellent extra virgin olive oil. In fact the olive oil could be the most exclusive in Italy as only 50 litres are produced.

The wine list includes Chianti, Brunello and the Super Tuscans and do ask about wine tastings by arrangement. The wine different from most of the best known Tuscan wines and is an authentic product once drunk by farmers!. The best wine is 'Tenorio della Foresteria' from Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes and best with red beef and grilled food. The dessert wine is called Vinsanto. It is very sweet and strong, made from Malvasia and put into 20 litre barrels for 24 months

Il Giardino di Fontarronco Guest Farm is a working farm owned by the Illuminati's, a family from the Val di Chiana. The 18th century villa has been meticulously restored with style and elegance and antique furniture and ten rustic apartments are available in various configurations. They provide an atmospheric base for discovering the Val di Chiana valley and wider Arezzo territory.
