For public transport around the city, walk down the hill to 'Piramide' which connects to the B line subway and is also the departure point for Ostia, Ostian Antica and the Rome coast. Along Via Marmorata there is also a tram line whic runs the length of the city from Trastevere, passing the Colosseum onto San Lorenzo and Vila Borghese with further tram links to Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican City.
