Guests can stay in 2 large air conditioned double bedrooms with views onto the garden courtyard, or the Junior Suite with double king-size bed and sofa which can also become a 2 single beds. There are 3 bathrooms with a hydro massage or shower.

Breakfast consists of coffee, hot chocolate, a variety of teas and fruit juices, bread, jams, honey, home made cakes, cereals and freshly baked croissants.

COOKING CLASS

The modern kitchen of Casa Ilaria also offers guests the chance of learning wonderful dishes from Bolognese gastronomic tradition. These classes are suitable for groups of 2 to 8 people and each lasts about 4 hours and finishes with a meal of what has been prepared, but larger groups can also be considered with group rates arranged in advance.

Dishes prepared include, sfoglia, tortelloni, brodo, lasagne, ragù alla bolognese, besciamella and cotoletta alla petroniana. Longer courses for longer stays can deepen your knowledge of Bolognese cooking.

The cost is €60 per person inclusive of lunch or dinner and notes containing the recipes. A 3 lesson is available for €150 per person. For €20 per person, book a guided shopping tour of the market in famous porticoes of Bologna.

Casa Ilaria had such a pleasant, homey and overall oldspirit immpression that we started imagining how it would be to move and live that life. I could almost sense the history, but it offered all fully modern comfort. The location was more than great. Everything was so close and we used the private parking in the building courtyard for free
