Locanda Azzeccagarbugli is a 19th century villa located near Mantua not far from the Parco del Mincio or park of the River Mincio, a beautiful natural area for walks and relaxing holidays, and a few kilometers from the centre of Mantova.

The locanda has been fully refurbished and offers bed and breakfast accommodation in 5 spacious, elegant bedrooms.

All are doubles with ensuite bathrooms, air conditinoing and satellite televison.

The villa is also set in its own park and gardens and during the warmer months guests are offered breakfast on the beatiful outisde veranda.

Pietole di Virgilio was the home of the famous ancient poet Virgil and the village is also close to the Etruscan ruins of Forcello, a zone of incredible interest. Mantova itself is a small art city which recently received Unesco recognition.

The province is famous for its lakes and the noble Gonzaga family. The city also hosted many famous painters such as Mantegna, Raffaello and Leon Battisti Alberti.
