Shanti House is a country villa located near the wonderful village of Morro d'Alba in the province of Ancona in Le Marche.

It is owned by the Romiti family who have run the Restaurant Dal Mago in the centre of Morro D'Alba for over five generations.

Open to guests since 2004 Shanti House offers a tranquil vacation base for discovering both the nearby Adriatic Coast and hinterland, as well as the mountainous zone of Monte Sibillini.

Nearest airport is Ancona airport 'Rafaello Sanzio' just 15km away with both Senigallia and Jesi train stations 12km away.

By car take the A14 autostrade and at Senigallia for Morro D'Alba if arriving from the north, or at Ancona north, ss76 towards Rome, exiting at Monsano or Jesi if arriving from the south.

Wine lovers should note that this is the heartland of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Bianchello del Metauro and Lacrima di Morro D'Alba wines, a zone of vineyards, olive groves and fields of spectacular sunflowers.

ROOMS AND RATES

Choose from 4 double rooms (2 with balcony), 2 twin rooms, 1 triple room and 2 suites which can sleeps from 2 to 4 people and include a lounge area and private entrance.

All are en suite modern and colourfully decorated and include central heating, air conditioning, television, telephone, safe, fridge, hairdryer and WiFi.

Prices range depend on the season and room type:

Low Season is from January to May and range from €50-120

Mid season is June, September, October and November and prices range from €55 to €130

High season is July and August and prices range from €65 to €150.

DINING

Breakfast is a buffet of locally made jams, cakes, hams, cheeses and salami, as well as freshly squeezed fruit juices.

Reservations can of course be made for the Dal Mago Restaurant but consider dinner around the pool of the Shanti House if you are a family or group of at least 8 people.

This is available from May 15th to September 15th as is a barr service and aperitif.
