The 4 star superior Plaza e De Russie Hotel is situated on the main promenade in central Viareggio. It was built in 1871 and is the most ancient hotel in Viareggio facing the "passeggiata" shop along the central promenade along the Tuscan coast. It is a real architectural jewel and the hotel has retained all of it history and atmosphere since it was constructed in 1871.

Guests can enjoy refined sofas, Murano glass chandeliers and discrete, antique furniture. All the 53 rooms of this historic Tuscany coast hotel have recently been refurbished and include 6 Deluxe and 5 Junior Suites, the latter made up of living-room and bedroom.

The rooms are furnished in a sober and elegant style with parquet floors and travertine bathrooms. All have modern fittings such as air conditioning and satellite TV.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS

The Viareggio promenade is an ideal location for congresses and meetings and the city and surrounding territory offer many short break proposals, as well as stay extensions for delegates or family.

The Plaza e De Russie Hotel is perfectly set up for conferences, meetings and conventions. Very few congress rooms can claim a similar setting in the heart of the Viareggio promenade. As well as the usual facilities to hold your event; radio microphone, light board, slide projector etc, there is also a wireless link.

DINING

For fine dining, also take the opportunity to eat at La Terrazza Restaurant which is located on the top floor of the hotel and has a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and Tuscan coast.
