The Hotel de Charme Stella Maris is located at the gates of the fabulous Cinque Terre in Liguria and the port town of Levanto is the perfect base for discovering the zone.
In fact, the building is a genuine 19th century 'palazzo' complete with frescoes covering the high ceilings. It is elegant, refined and furnished with splendid period furniture.
The overall effect is one of serene calm and elegance as the images demonstrate.
Levanto was once the old feudal stamping ground of the Malaspina, and the Da Passano families before coming under control of the Republic of Genova.
The closeness of the Cinque Terre is one, but the continuous onshore breezes keep the climate mild throughout the year.
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Guest facilities include: parking lot on request € 10,00 per day; free direct connection to internet in all rooms; reception available for any demand, information, bookings, internet point on payment, washing machine at guests’ disposal.
To add to the calm, relaxed atmosphere there is a large garden where guests can find some cool shade at any time of the day.
Also look out for a boat service for visiting the Cinque Terre which starts in May and ending in September. Guests are given 3 daily tickets.
DINING
In the newly opened Restaurant Il Giardino di Palazzo Vannoni it's possible to enjoy the unmistakable gastronomic creativity of Ligurian cuisine. Guests dine under the shadow of large palm trees surrounded by colorful Ligurian flowers where you can taste genuine in-house cuisine which is looked after with special attention by the owner, Sig.ra Renza, who ensures all the dishes conserve a real local authenticity.
The Restaurant is open to the public, but do consider a special 2 night romantic stay at the hotel for €440 which includes a candlelight meal for two, junior suite with room service and buffet breakfast.
Available from Monday to Friday in April, May, June, September and October.

DEPENDENCE STELLA MARIS
If you up to 20 people looking to hike the Cinque Terre or practise other sports in the zone, then consider the Dependence Stella Maris, a few steps from the beach and situated in the antique palace of the Grand Hotel from Levanto.
The first floor has been renovated into 7 classic rooms with private bathroom, safe, air conditioning and free ADSL connection etc.
