The 4 star Romantik Hotel Locanda Don Serafino is an extremely refined and welcoming three star hotel in the heart of old Ragusa itself inserted on the World Heritage List of Unesco. Part of Romantik Hotels and Restaurants International, the hotel is situated right in the heart of baroque quarter of Ragusa in a tastefully renovated 19th-century mansion where many of the narrow and charming alleys of the city can only be passed on foot.

Guests sleep in ten elegant and comfortable rooms divided into by 5 junior suites, 4 double rooms and 1 large single bed room. Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 11.00 in the breakfast hall and bar and consists of sweet and savoury food based on typical local products of the Ragusa area.

During the hotter months guest can also use the private beach in Marina di Ragusa 20 km. away from the Locanda. It is one of eastern Sicily's most beautiful and also boasts the Lido Azzurro Ristorante Da Serafino . It was founded in 1953 by Serafino La Rosa and today is run by his sons and barman Giuseppe, a sommelier and a connoisseur of food and wines.

DINING

The hotel restaurant is within easy walking distance. Called 'Locanda Don Serafino Ristorante', it can be found in the former stables of an old mansion and is widely acknowledged as being one of the best in Sicily for its food and wines.

A cigars tasting seminar can also be arranged with a precious range of cigars collection
