The Duke Hotel is four star Rome accommodation a short walk from Villa Borghese and located in a quiet area of the Italian capital.

Just one stop on the Suburban North Line  will take you to Piazza del Popolo and the heart of Rome's high fashion shopping district, as well as the nearby Spanish Steps.

Or else go in style every morning by taking the hotel's complimentary Mercedes car shuttle from/to Piazza del Popolo.

ROOMS

Choose from 64 elegant, large and comfortable rooms in king, twin or queen bed typologies, or one of the 14 suites divided by junior, standard and apartment size.

All rooms benefit from modern travel facilities which include autonomous air conditioning, WiFi and most have a balcony or terrace.

Also look out for the non smoking floor and rooms for guests with disabilities. The bathrooms are welcoming, capacious and the majority are illuminated with natural day light. They are predominantly made in beautiful Italian marble.

DINING & CATERING

The coloful in-house restaurant is called "I Duchi". It serves typical Italian dishes, as well as low fat courses, kids menus and international specialities. The restaurant is 'a la carte' but also look out for the all day Brasserie menu.

Guests can also request a 3 hour Rome cooking course or even a cooking stay package.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS

The Duke Hotel Rome is also ideally suited to business travellers. Five meeting rooms of various dimensions can cater for congresses, cocktails or gala dinners. Video conferences via ADSL line and WiFi connection are available throughout the hotel.

The Tenuta Giustiniana villa residence in the Park of Veio is owned by the hotel and is both a historical and beautiful location for a wedding or special event in Rome. It was once an an ancient Roman post station where messengers would eat and drink after long travels. 250 people can be catered for with the area open for any possible type of organization.

The Paolo Caschera Wellness and Beauty Suite is where you can relax and destress. Expert therapists will help you select the right treatments based on ancient and contemporary techniques: Optional personal trainer, personal jogger, Matt pilates and Fitt Ball are all available.

 

We stayed here for our 38th Wedding Anniversary and it was perfect. Don't worry about being away from the center of the city. It's a short walk to the bus or train and a Roma Card gets you anywhere you want to go, subway, train or bus. They made reservations for us to see the Borgese Gallery which was Free...
