The luxury and stylish five star hotel and restaurant Albergo al Sole is located in the very centre of Asolo, an ancient medieval village in the province of Treviso, Veneto. The hotel has 23 bedrooms 1 mansard suite, 2 Junior Suite, 3 Superior double rooms with view of the historical center of Asolo, 1 Exclusive double room dedicated to Eleonora Duse, 8 double standard rooms, 2 mansard Queen size bed and 6 single rooms with Queen size bed.

All have been provided with modern amenities such as jacuzzi showers, air conditioning, satellite & pay TV, safe etc. Additional facilities of the hotel include a technogym and fitness room, private parking, laundry, baby sitting, airport transfer and rental car. A 27 hole golf club is located nearby and ask the reception for details about local mountain bike excursions.

Yet, the past is very much present in the Albergo Al Sole with antique style bath tubs giving you a feel of turn of 19th century charm. DINING AND COOKING LESSONS

Albergo al Sole can host business meetings and conferences as well as receptions and private weddings. Catering is in house courtesy of the renowned chefs of the Restaurant La Terrazza and guests can also learn gourmet Italian cuisine with exclusive cooking lessons with the chef and his team.

If you want to stay half board and dine at La Terrazza Bar & Restaurant, then a €50,00 supplement per person per day is requested. For stays of 3 nights this price is discounted by 10 euros.

AROUND ASOLO

Asolo is the hometown of sculptor A. Canova whose most scandalous work can be seen in Villa Borghese in Rome.It is a statue of Princess Pauline Borghese, Napoleon's sister, and was completed in 1808.

Nearby sights not to miss are Villa Barbaro and Villa Emo by Palladio, the monthly antiques market in Asolo, the Marostica chess event and the grappa museum and bridge in Bassano.
