AROUND ASOLO
Asolo is the hometown of sculptor A. Canova whose most scandalous work can be seen in Villa Borghese in Rome.It is a statue of Princess Pauline Borghese, Napoleon's sister, and was completed in 1808.
Nearby sights not to miss are Villa Barbaro and Villa Emo by Palladio, the monthly antiques market in Asolo, the Marostica chess event and the grappa museum and bridge in Bassano.
