Relais Il Falconiere is four star luxury accommodation in a 17th century Tuscan villa in the countryside near Cortona. But it is also so much more than this: a fine Michelin starred restaurant where guests can enjoy cooking lessons with the chef, a wine hotel courtesy of the Baracchi Winery, a Wellness Spa to destress, and a wonderful location for a wedding or family event.

Above all, what was once the home of famous poet Antonio Guadagnoli has now been completely transformed for a quality stay in Tuscany with characteristic old fashioned charm.

Choose from twenty two rooms divided by Classic, Deluxe, Junior Suites and Suite. Some are located in the antique home, others are attached to the villa's chapel, while the rest are situated in the old cottage. All are individually designed and have fabulous views of the famous Cortonese countryside.

The suites are very particular and include the Winery Suite, a family friendly suite where the children's room is in the loft, and the Wellness Suite, a room inside the Spa and 100% dedicated to your health.

From Spring to Autumn, breakfast is served in the garden and includes a full buffet of pastries, savory tarts, freshly laid eggs, cold meats and local hand made cheeses. Any particular food needs can also be catered for.

Restaurant Il Falconiere is located in the old lemon house. Inside a stylish looking glass and wrought iron conservatory it boasts 3 dining rooms. From May to September, guests can dine on the outdoor terrace with its breathtaking view of the Chiana Valley. A bar service operates for anyone using the swimming pool, garden or terrace while, only for resident guests, brunch in the garden or by the pool is available from 1 pm.
