CARNIVAL OF ABRUZZO - February
Ask any of the local tourism offices and they will tell you the most interesting 'carnevale' in Abruzzo is held at Francavilla al Mare.
CORSA DEGLI ZINGARI
1st Sunday of September
In Pacentro in Abruzzo, 17 young men run barefoot over 3km thought woods and along unpaved tracks to the church of the town.
