FEBRUARY - CARNIVAL OF ABRUZZO
Ask any of the local tourism offices and they will tell you the most interesting carnevale in Abruzzo is held at Francavilla al Mare.
APRIL/MAY - FRITTATA FEAST
In Molise there is the big omelet festival, something like 1157 eggs are used to make the frittata. Parade costumes, traditional music and dancing evening to perform the molisan folklore www.prolocomontaquila.org
SEPTEMBER - CORSA DEGLI ZINGARI
1st Sunday of September, In Pacentro in Abruzzo, 17 young men run barefoot over 3km thought woods and along unpaved tracks to the church of the town.
